Picture this, you’re strolling along London’s South Bank, soaking in those riverside vibes, maybe sipping on a flat white and boom! Suddenly you see a giant green ogre grinning at you from a building. You didn’t fall into a fairy-tale. (Or maybe you did?) Well welcome to Shrek’s Adventure London, a brilliantly bonkers, family-friendly, interactive attraction that drops you right into the middle of the Shrek universe.

So, Where is Shrek Adventures?

Let’s cut to the chase, Shrek’s Adventure is nestled right on the South Bank of the River Thames, just a stone’s throw or a dragon’s flight, from some of London’s biggest icons. You’ll find it at:
County Hall, Westminster Bridge Road, London SE1 7PB, United Kingdom
It’s literally next door to the London Eye, across from Big Ben, and neighbours with the London Dungeon (check out which ones better out of London Dungeon or Amsterdam Dungeon) and Sea Life London (check out the ticket prices to SEA LIFE London Aquarium), so you can make a whole day of it without even crossing the street.
Closest tube stop? That’ll be Waterloo Station, a quick five-minute walk. Or if you want to be extra fancy, hop off at Westminster and saunter over the bridge like the main character you are.

What Is Shrek’s Adventure, Anyway?

This isn’t your average walk-through museum or a boring behind-glass experience. Oh no! Shrek’s Adventure is like being dropped headfirst into a DreamWorks movie.
You start with a hilarious 4D flying bus ride (piloted by Donkey himself, obviously) that swoops you through Far Far Away. Then, you journey through a series of live, interactive shows featuring your favourite fairy-tale creatures, like Cinderella, Puss in Boots, and even the Muffin Man (yes, the Muffin Man).
Expect a blend of:

Kids will be in absolute heaven, but adults – don’t worry, you’ll be laughing right along too, and maybe getting a little competitive with the treasure hunt bits.

Tickets, Tips, and Timing

Tickets start around £21 if you book online in advance which you should, it’s cheaper and faster. Walk-up prices start from £32, and it can get busy, especially on weekends and school holidays.
Hot tip: Bundle it with other Merlin attractions (like the London Eye or Sea Life) and you can save some serious gold coins. Or get a Merlin Annual Pass and get some major discounts. Check out why you should look into the Merlin Annual Pass.
Expect to spend about 75–90 minutes inside. It’s the perfect chunk of time long enough to be worth it and short enough to avoid toddler meltdowns or hangry adult moments.

Shrek Adventures

Who Is It For?

Final Thoughts: Worth It?

Absolutely! It’s quirky, chaotic, and totally charming. Whether you’re a tourist looking for some whimsical fun in between the palaces and cathedrals, or a London local chasing something different, Shrek’s Adventure London is a ridiculously joyful experience. No ogre-acting required, but highly encouraged.
So grab your ears, channel your inner swamp-dweller, and get ready to live out your fairy-tale fantasies, with a DreamWorks twist.
